Apply to be given a counsel-managed space, e.g. in Swansea High Street, or “piggyback” the space of another organisation like Volcano or Circus Eruption.
If we were to consider looking for alternative accommodation are we sticking with Monday for our rehearsal night and what would we be prepared to pay?
I think a dojo is something we should start looking into – and check out the two organisations mentioned by Yanis. For now we do not have enough regular income to change our frugal practice habits! but in a year’s time, who knows. To rent a big space I would like to have a year’s rent in the bank in advance. Otherwise the stress is too much. Would you guys be happy to put your own drums in a dojo when we have it?
